Photographing Jungle Love 2018 was my first music festival assignment back on home soil. I was charmed by this eclectic, indie little shindig, and plan to return in 2019. The most captivating moment was the hauntingly eerie and beautiful butoh performance that took place on top of the hill at sundown. Honourable mentions were Opiuo (my absolute favourite electronic artist; such a privilege to photograph him); Luminescence, a string quartet set amongst the trees at twilight; and getting a kiss from the lead singer of Rackett, the baddest riot-punk babes around.
